Harbour Loft is ideally situated, overlooking the Summerleaze Beach, with views of the rugged coastline and Atlantic Ocean. It is only yards away from Bude Harbour and its unique sea lock, one of the only two remaining in the British Isles. The Loft has immediate access to the Downs and the Coastal Path. Bude Town Centre is a few minutes walk. There are pubs and restaurants situated at the end of the road and in the Bude Town Centre.

Harbour Loft is an integral part of West Cottage, which was built by Sir Thomas Acland, wealthy landowner and MP in 1820 and had remained within the family until 1996. Sir Thomas was involved in much of the early development if Bude, including the Breakwater, Sea Lock and Bude Canal.

Harbour Loft is reached by a small flight of steps leading into a fully equipped kitchen living area with all the usual amenities: cooker, fridge, microwave and television.

Overlooking the small cottage sea garden with a westerly aspect, it has views to the Breakwater and Atlantic and enjoys beautiful sunsets.

There is a spacious double bedroom, with king size bed and plenty of storage space. It has a southerly aspect, overlooking The Downs, part of the coastal path. The bathroom has a bath, overhead electric shower, w.c. and wash basin.

Harbour loft is an attractive apartment, offering a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

Parking

Parking is available immediately in front of the property.

Garden

Table and chairs are available in the cottage garden with views to the beach.

Pool

A natural sea water bathing pool is available across Summerleaze beach.

Beaches - The property is immediately next to Summerleaze Beach which has a natural sea bathing pool. It is close to Crooklets Beach and Widemouth Bay. Access to Bude Downs and the Coastal Path is only metres away.
Pets - Unfortunately pets will not be allowed
Smoking - There is a no smoking policy in the accommodation
Short Lets - Harbour Loft welcomes short breaks in the off peak season (Nov- Mar) Please ring/email for a quote. Note: Minimum stay is three nights
Arrivals - Arrival times are from 4pm Saturday
Departures - Departure time is 10.00am Saturday
Accommodation & Equipment - Every effort has been made to ensure the safety of guests but the accommodation and the equipment is used at the guests own risk. Responsibility is not accepted for the loss or damage to the guests property.

Please note: all rates below are per week

25% deposit (non-refundable) on booking with a balance payable in full one month before arrival. Once the booking is confirmed, you will be responsible for the balance of the cost of the holiday; therefore you may wish to make your own arrangements for cancellation insurance.

Price includes: Gas, Electricity, Bed Linen & Towels.
